What NOT to do on your Vegas Vacation!

It is very frustrating for a Las Vegas local (and as a promoter) when friends or clients visit to have the time of their lives and they cannot hang! Vegas is the number 1 vacation spot where people immediately decide to let loose and start taking advantage of having open containers of alcohol on the street, while this detail is a LOT of fun- keep in mind that the city never sleeps and take advantage of that!

#1.  DO NOT GET WASTED RIGHT AWAY! Upon arrival- yes, do have a drink- you deserve it! But take it slow the first day/hour! Being hung over right away on your vacation is less than ideal- BUT, if the hangover begins right away keep drinking! Might as well stay lit and party, hold off on your sickness until u go home!

#2.  EAT, but NOT RIGHT BEFORE THE CLUB! Vegas has an amazing selection of awesome restaurants, but planning your dinner any time later than 7:30 will slow you down! You will need time to digest before drinking and dancing or else your wonderful dinner will come right back out!

#3.  DO NOT BUY TICKETS TO A SHOW THAT STARTS AFTER 10pm! See a show EARLY! Planning to see a show at 10pm and expecting to make a club guestlist on time is incredibly annoying to your promoter! And if this option is your only choice do not complain when you get charged to get in to the club!

#4.  DO NOT WALK TO THE CLUB! TAKE A CAB! The Las Vegas strip is huge! Although the hotel / casino of destination may be seen from your location it will still take a while to walk there ESPECIALLY IN HEELS! A taxi is well worth the blisters and making it to the club on time!

#5.  DO NOT BE RUDE! BE NICE! Even if your plans are set in stone, and you're group of friends are famous on Instagram - be friendly to anyone that you come across, especially club promoters. You never know who you are talking to and that person may just be at the ropes to the club you are trying to get into last minute!

#6.  DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON EXPENSIVE ATTIRE FOR VEGAS!
Unless you have it! Your $1500 shoes will get drinks spilled on them, scuffed up etc! Plus, in order to have a good time and let loose limit the amount of things to worry about- purses get STOLEN, dresses get drinks SPILLED on them, shoes get SCUFFED! Also, nobody can tell "who" you are wearing in a dark nightclub!

#7.  DON'T BUY DRUGS! Of course, it should be common sense, but that random guy that offers you a good deal on something that sounds fun is probably BULLSH**!

#8.  DON'T BE STINGY! Especially ladies! Most clubs are free entry and provide some free drinks, TIP THE BARTENDER! Taking a limo anywhere? TIP THE LIMO DRIVER! If anything happens that is free and makes you happy, be generous! Spread the happiness!

#9.  DON'T PLAN EVERY SECOND OF YOUR TRIP! It will never work out as planned. Especially in Vegas!

#10.  One of the most important things to NOT do is: DO NOT LOSE YOUR ID! If you're prone to losing stuff, bring a second form of ID and keep it in the hotel room!
