A day at Work

I work five days a week.  Every day before I start my search for lovely ladies I meet up with my coworkers and boss for encouraging words and to find out how many people showed up for us on our guestlists the night before.  Then we are let loose!

I like to meet people at hotel pools.  It's easier to talk to girls that are already laying out, but I have to be sly so the security doesn't catch on and kick me out.  I have been kicked out of one pool, and warned at a couple others...  It's easier to promote during the summer, and fun to walk around in my bikini and go pool hopping!

This job requires a lot of walking, it takes me about an hour to make it from one end of the strip to the other.  I definitely know my way around the casinos on the strip now!  My favorite casinos to promote in are Palazzo, Venetian, Treasure Island, Caesars Palace, & Planet Hollywood.  Although I walk past the same buildings, still experience something different each day!

I will stay out on the strip until I have at least 50 groups on my guestlist, I usually end up working about 5 hours a day.  It is very tiring!  By the time I get home I just want to relax, but I have a toddler and a large dog that needs require my attention so I end up exercising more on top of all the walking at work.  Then I have enough time to submit my guestlist, send text messages to my groups, shower and get ready to hit the clubs to make a pre-guestlist for the next day.

I am out at the clubs four or more times a week, but rarely to dance and have fun!

The Beginning

Crown Nightclub in Rio hotel was the first place I promoted.  The club was kinda cool, had a big dancefloor and the VIP tables are set up around it in a circle.  I got paid commission on how many passes got returned or if I made a guestlist, there were bonuses if I were to hit certain numbers as well.  I went out during the day and tried to get a guestlist and came back to the Rio at night to hand out passes to get ppl in for free.  Somehow only a couple passes ever got returned each night which means I didn't make money, so I quit.

A friend I met while interviewing at Crown turned me on to King Ink in the Mirage hotel.  King Ink was a tattoo parlor during the day and at night they transform it into a nightclub/lounge.  I worked at night and handed out wristbands for people to get into the club for $10 and get an open bar.  I got paid between $3-$5 per person that went to King Ink with my wristband on.  There was potential to make good money at this job, but I wanted to work somewhere more popular and get paid hourly.

I quit King Ink to work at Haze nightclub inside the Aria hotel/casino.  I was employed by The Lightgroup which did promotions for Haze, Jet, Gold Lounge, Liquid Pool, Bare Pool.  My job was to put together a guestlist during the day and hand out passes then at night I was to meet my groups and make sure they checked in correctly. I got paid minimum wage hourly and there was bonus pay if I hit a certain number of girls checking in on my guestlist plus passes.  Working for the Lightgroup was very tiresome because I was out all day then had to be back at night, then they sent us to other clubs after work to get a prelist for the next day.  Also, we had to do stuff on our days off like go to meetings or drop off passes at businesses.  I quit working at Haze.

At the moment I work promoting for XS and Tryst nightclubs inside Encore and Wynn hotels.  I love my job.  And these are two of the hottest nightclubs in Las Vegas!
