Liquor and beer is sold around the clock in Las Vegas! On the strip there are various Walgreens, CVS, gift shops and casinos/bars to obtain your drink of choice! I recommend Walgreens or CVS to save money. Another way to get a couple drinks cheap/free is to hit the slots! Play a few dollars (slowly) and the cocktail waitress will bring any drink! *remember to always tip when things are free!!! The most popular drink for tourists on the strip is from Fat Tuesday tho- the drinks are huge! Chose from a wide variety of crushed iced flavors and plan for a nap later!
Vegas is a party city, most people plan to go hard 24/7 but easier said than done! Someone WILL get sick (too drunk), lose their ID (bring two forms of ID!), and get burnt out. I suggest choosing one day to go hard at a pool party and reserve one day to stay somewhat sober to make it to a nightclub in time for the guestlist and stay out all night. OR, chose a day to go hard at a pool party, set aside time to take a NAP, eat a quick dinner and go to a club that night. OR, hit up a pool party during the day but keep the drinking to a minimum! Alcohol mixed with the Las Vegas sun is hard on the body- make sure to drink lots of H20 and EAT (do not skip meals!). Also, if interested in seeing a Show, plan to see the early show to not miss the club guestlist!
Alcohol and partying is the recipe for making new friends! Las Vegas is an interesting place to make friends because people come from all over the world, some are local and some make up fake personas for fun! Plans will get changed once these new friends are acquired. Members of your group will drop off to spend time with their new "friends", it is inevitable! Ladies: remember, if the feeling arises that maybe a "friend" isn't what you thought keep in mind that the hotel Security is always your friend and is an easy way to get away from someone if needed. Aside from that, Las Vegas is an awesome place to make friends because "What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas!"
